Tommi Makelainen was a part-time contract worker in WCTG from September 1998 to September 1999. During this period, he developed with Maarit Melvasalo a C/Matlab SIMULINK testbed for the UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access (UTRA) system. He works at Nokia Research Center in Tampere, Finland.
