This document contains lists of decisions made during the creation of the SDL
model. It is documented here because it may provide insight on why, when, and
how decisions were made in the SDL model. It also provides a log of the work,
so that if something fails during a regression test, a trace of the major
changes is available.
The first list is a
of items discovered during the creation of the SDL
model over a number of versions. If an item is in bold, then the
item has not been completed, or is still an outstanding issue, which cannot
be completed. Not all items are listed.
The second list is a list of possible
to the SDL, which are
known to be useful extensions, but resources and time prevented their
implementation or were determined not to be of high priority to the work at
The third list is a list of
that may or may not have been answered
that were encountered along the way.
The fourth list is a list of
. Some of these are continuations
of the questions asked. That is answers to some of these questions may require
a more in depth study, possible a research topic. Others are just areas of
interest outside of the SDL project.
